"Very pale, green-tinged color. High-pitched aromas of lime, pear, mint and lichee, with a pronounced suggestion of raw oyster. Pure, suave and laid-back, with rich but subtle flavors of nectarine, spice, thyme and pepper, and a hint of tropical fruits. A spherical, rather fleshy sake with creamy suggestions of butter and macadamia nut. As round as this is, it also communicates a light touch. The fresh finish boasts excellent lift. Try this with spicier foods." (VM)

Winery Notes:
Tentaka uses triple-filtered water from an underground stream to brew this sake, then uses the laborious, low-yielding, ultra-gentle drip-pressing method of shizuku. Power, purity, and finesse are the result.

Tasting Notes/Food Pairing:
While lime, mint, and lychee dominates the nose, the softness and suppleness of this medium-bodied sake has flavors of honeydew melon, ripened pear and fresh cut hay amplified by vibrant overall acidity. The laser-focused finish has an enjoyable dusty character with clean anise-like flavors. It doesn't get much better than this!
