"A bright and lively Champagne, with citrusy acidity enlivening rich hints of crème de cassis, toasted almond and crystallized honey. Accents of minerally smoke and saline linger on the creamy finish. Drink now. 58,000 cases imported. -AN" (WS)

"The new release of Piper-Heidsieck's NV Cuvée Brut is performing nicely, delivering notes of toasted brioche, yellow orchard fruit, peach, honeycomb and biscuits. Medium to full-bodied, it is elegantly fleshy and precise, with lively acids, well-integrated dosage and a pinpoint mousse." (WA)

"The NV Brut Cuvée is soft, plush and very easy to like. Brioche, baked apple tart, spice and vanillin are front and center. This is an especially easygoing NV Champagne. The dosage feels a bit on the high side, but the wine's balance is impeccable. I would prefer to drink it over the next few years. L190219." (VM)

"Leading with a pleasant, reasonably well-focused nose of mildly lemony fruit overlaid with a light veneer of creamy yeast, this rounded, easy-to-drink sparkler sports a mousse that is a little less-refined than that of many, and, while it arguably hits the most of the correct Champagne marks, it does so without excelling at any. It is a likeable enough Brut, to be sure, but it lacks the richness and reach of its higher-ranked mates. Reviewed: December 2017" (CG)

"Light green-ish stone fruits and lemon citrus notes on the nose with gently herbal, floral aromas, too. The palate is an easygoing, approachable and sweetly flavored offering, made for simple, early drinking. " (JS)

"With its 80% of red grapes, this cuvée has structure and fine richness. It has some bottle age while retaining freshness and offers a balanced Champagne that is seamlessly fruity and ready to drink. -Roger Voss " (WE)
