"Very spicy, sporting caramel, cinnamon and tarry flavors, sweet and silky on the long finish." (WS)

"Pale tawny-amber colored, the NV Club Australian Tawny expresses a lovely nose of raisins, sultana, toffee and dates with hints of dried figs and caramel. Full-bodied, it is nicely poised in the mouth with rich, sweet and concentrated flavors that finish long. Drink it now." (WA)

Winery Notes:
In 1844 Christopher Rawson Penfold planted vines on the slopes of Magill to produce fortified wines. PENFOLDS is now proud to present a range of fortified wines that is a continuation of over 160 years of winemaking tradition and represents the finest collection of wines of this style in Australia.

For over 60 years PENFOLDS Club has been Australia's favourite choice of Tawny. Beginning life as PENFOLDS Five Star Club Tawny in the 1940's, this wine has grown with this nation. Now Australia's number one bottle fortified wine, PENFOLDS Club continues to offer the same quality and value for money as always.

Amber-brown with a dark red rim.

The nose is lifted with an attractive mix of dried fruit, vanilla, caramel and a touch of nutty aged rancio complexity.

The palate is rich and vibrant displaying ripe spicy fruit, toffee and walnuts framed by smoky oak with a lifted cleansing finish.
