BEST NON-VINTAGE CUVEE WE'VE TASTED, MAYBE EVER!!

"Balanced and fresh, with an airy mousse carrying flavors of crunchy pear, piecrust, apricot and ground ginger, all underscored by a hint of smoky mineral. Drink now through 2017. 20,000 cases imported. -A.N." (WS)

"($40) (made from roughly 50% chardonnay, 35% pinot noir and 15% pinot meunier; L63PX104386): Limpid gold. Spice- and mineral-accented aromas and flavors of pear, lemon and fig, with a subtle anise nuance in the background. Shows good depth and energy, finishing silky, spicy and very long." (VM)

"An updated and renovated NV offering from LP, this has bright white stone fruit aromas and flavors with a silky smooth palate and gently nutty build into the finish. Chardonnay leads the wine, while pinot noir and meunier deliver structure and reserve wines add depth and interest. Drink now." (JS)

"This is smooth and softly textured wine. With its relatively high dosage and creamy texture, this standard nonvintage cuvée is immediately accessible and delicious. Great fruit makes it a great aperitif style of Champagne." (WE)

Winery Notes:
The flagship of Laurent-Perrier, which embodies the House style; deliciously fresh and easy to drink. The blend is composed of over 55 different Crus (with an average 94% rating). After being aged for over three years, liqueur d'expidition is added and the champagne is matured for a further six months. the result is a delicate yet complex nose, with hints of citrus fruit, and a good balanced palate. Perfect as an aperitif, it also goes very well with food. Cepages: Chardonnay 45%, Pinot Noir 40%, Pinot Meunier 15%.
