"A jovial bubbly, with vibrant and floral cherry and strawberry flavors and a steely, crisp finish, revealing a zesty spice accent. Drink now. 28,800 cases made. -TF" (WS)

"90% Pinot Noir; 10% Chardonnay. Over the last half decade, this lightly pink wine has been our choice among its price point peers and it has done well again this time out. It strikes us a bit lighter in style and depth while retaining its attractive blend of creamy and quietly fruity elements, and its foamy yet insistent mousse is well-fit to its fairly straightforward, cherry-infused flavors. It can serve well as either a stand-alone aperitif or as a companion to light finger foods." (CG)

"Want to spend under $15 on a Champagne? Forget it. How about a Prosecco? It’s easy, but taste at your own risk. To my taste, there is no better sparkling wine under $15 (or $25 for that matter) than Gloria Ferrer’s Blanc de Noir. Made in a traditional Champagne style out of 90% Pinot Noir grapes, this pale pinkish gold wine is great year in and year out. The Pinot adds an extra level of complexity over their Chardonnay-based Brut and the fact that the grapes come from Carneros, the site of some of California’s best Pinot, is further testament to the quality.

What more is there to say about this wine? It’s great, it’s under $15 and it’s my sparkling wine of choice on the golf course (everyone brings bubbly to the golf course right?). Oh and one more thing… it’s available in full and half bottles. It’s ALWAYS a good idea to have half bottles of bubbly on hand at home!" (Nickel & Dime)

Tasting Notes:
Bright strawberry and black cherry aromas with subtle vanilla highlights. Creamy cherry, lemon and cola flavors combine with a lush palate, small, lively bubbles and a persistent finish.
