"Violet, red berry and crushed herb aromas lead the nose while the juicy, fruity palate doles out wild cherry, crushed strawberry and white pepper notes. Crisp acidity lends a clean finish. -Kerin O’Keefe" (WE)

Winery Notes:
Paying homage to the father of the cooperative system ‘Gino Friedmann’. A man deeply involved in the efforts of connecting farmers without the means to wine production. With his diligence he created an outlet for many grower’s grapes. The collaboration led to the founding of Cantine Carpi in 1903 where they have been crafting typical wines of Emilia-Romagna ever since.

Produced using the charmat method. Fermentation starts with a typical rose vinification requiring just a brief skin contact and undergoes a secondary fermentation in steel tanks. Using only the Sorbara variety of Lambrusco grapes the wine is made in a fresh and dry style.

Tasting Notes:
Appearing with a bright pinkish hue, boasting aromas of fresh strawberry and raspberry accented by orange zest. Lively and refreshing bubbles with a bone dry finish.
