"The 2019 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane Vineyard has lush aromas of wild berry preserves, blood orange, potpourri, aniseed and dusty earth. The medium-bodied palate is layered and pure, with a gentle grainy grip, refreshing acidity and expansive, spicy fruit on the long finish. It's lovely straight from bottle but will age well over the next decade. 482 cases produced.

In January 2021, Williams Selyem announced the sale of a minority interest to the Faiveley family, who brings seven generations of Burgundian winemaking experience to the Russian River Valley. The sale is part of a longterm succession plan by current owners John and Kathe Dyson. Winemaker Jeff Mangahas notes that Faiveley is one of the first Burgundian houses to plant roots in the Russian River appellation, after the sale of Merry Edwards to Louis Roederer in 2019. There will be no day-to-day changes in winemaking, and Mangahas emphasizes his dedication to the style of wines set forth by Burt Williams 40 years ago." (WA)
