2020 WINE SPECTATOR TOP 100: #73

"Ruby grapefruit, passionfruit and green apple flavors are vibrant and expressive on a juicy frame. Shows off terrific transparency to the fruit flavors, and a long finish where a touch of Dragonwell green tea peeks through. Drink now. 40,000 cases made, 35,000 cases imported. -MW" (WS)

"A lively, young wine with a touch of CO2-derived spritz providing vivacity. Light-bodied, crisp and clear, offering crunchy green flavors and passion fruit. Made in a classic, easy-drinking style, to be consumed young for its fruity appeal and zesty acidity." (VM)

Winery Notes:
Pale straw colored. Grapefruit and lime zest, with sweet underlying passionfruit pulp on the nose. The palate is dry with a vibrant acid tension. A sweet fruit character showing the classic Marlborough interplay of tropical fruits, citrus and zesty currant and guava flavors.
