Winery Notes:
BACKGROUND AND CHARACTER:
Beaujolais-Villages takes its name from 38 wine-producing villages long identified for the superior quality of their wines. Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau is that ideal, versatile red wine we all look for.

WINEMAKING:
Harvesting: Manual only, whole bunches unstemmed. Temperature of fermentation: 77F to 83F during maceration. Length of maceration: Short, 4 to 6 days.

TASTING NOTES:
This Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau is garnet-colored and delightfully fresh and fruity. Boasting flavors of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and blackcurrant, it is harmonious, smooth and deliciously balanced. For this fabulous, even voluptuous year, we recommend that you drink the wine between 62°F and 66°F. Any lower than 50-59°F, the aromas and the fruit will be inhibited.

FOOD PAIRING:
Grilled and barbequed meats, charcuterie, colorful salads, and cheese.
