"A fresh and balanced white, with fruit flavors of Asian pear, lemon sorbet and passion fruit coulis accented by wet stone and dried herb notes. Drink now. 13,000 cases made, 1,000 cases imported. -AN" (WS)

"This wine shows pretty definition and intensity with a slightly wild side that comes forward as wild herb, sage and preserved lemon. The 2018 Greco di Tufo Loggia della Serra has a slightly green note of olive or caper followed by stone fruit, white peach and Golden Delicious apple. The finish is tangy and bright." (WA)

"Sweet, white-floral perfume and ripe apples make a fresh impression that leads to a succulent, gently tangy finish. Drink or hold." (JS)

"Enticing scents of spring blossoms, citrus, white stone fruit and Mediterranean brush waft out of the glass. Structured and loaded with finesse, the vibrant, linear palate delivers Meyer lemon, white peach, Bartlett pear and tangy saline notes before a long, crisp finish. Drink through 2024. -Kerin O’Keefe" (WE)

Winery Notes:
The Greco variety was originally cultivated on the slopes of Vesuvius, where it was given the name Lacryma Christi. It was later planted in the province of Avellino, where it was given the denomination Greco di Tufo. The refined personality of the wine is in sharp contrast with the wild nature of the Irpinia, where it is made. This contrast is the result of the area’s dedication to simplicity which has been re-needed by years of winemaking.
