"The 2018 Pinot Noir Bodega Headlands Cuvée Elizabeth is a gorgeous, elegant wine. Hints of rose petal, cinnamon and crushed red berry fruit all grace this lithe, understated Pinot Noir. In its first impression, the Cuvée Elizabeth is the most aromatic and lifted of these wines, but it gains volume and darker tonalities of fruit with aeration. If opened young, the 2018 will benefit immensely from being opened in advance. " (VM)

Winery Notes:
Opens with a high-toned perfume of red fruits and florals – tiny red raspberries, tart cherry, and rose petal. An enticing and elegant wine with a discreet saline element that becomes more apparent with air. The texture of the wine has a certain laciness to it, as oyster shell minerality underpins the finely etched red fruits. The Cuvée Elizabeth finishes gracefully, with the salty red-berry flavors lingering on the palate in a captivating way. -SK
