"A Malbec from Mayor Drummond made in accordance with DOC guidelines, 100% of the wine is aged in French barrels for a year. A dense reddish-purple in the glass, it offers classic aromas: ripe fruit with wood to the fore, vanilla and woodshop, then a second wave of ripe plum set off by notes of clove. Medium-bodied with a slightly rough texture, moderate freshness and gentle tannins that guide the way. The aftertaste is juicy and lingering, brought out by the wood." (VM)

"Relatively complex aromas of blueberries and flowers follow through to a medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and a flavorful finish. Fine tannins. Well delivered. Drink or hold." (JS)
