Winery Notes:
Tasting Notes:
At first swirl, the nose reveals notes of sweet citrus, Meyer lemon, and vanilla undertones. The palate is vivid, expressive and laden with fresh-cut white flowers, pears, and Maui pineapple. A classic, yet contemporary, Rued clone mouthfeel. The palate finishes with elegance, mouth-watering acids, and delicious generosity of flavor. This 2018 Sonoma County Chardonnay is a definite prevailing crowd pleaser. Drink now thru 2022- ideal temperature for serving 63°F, serve in a generous fine cut white burgundy glass!

Vineyard Notes:
At this point the 2018s seem to have good backbone, acidity and balance, it was a slow start. A cool spring meant bloom lasted longer than usual but fruit set was consistent. "Chardonnay in the Russian River & west Sonoma coast has good fruit intensity, coupled with more acid drive and finesse” said winemaker Helen Keplinger - Which we are excited about on this vintage for chardonnay.
