"The 2018 Fundamental White is a blend of Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne with aromas of warm peaches, musk melon, honeysuckle, lychee and elderflower with a stony hint. The palate is medium to full-bodied and spicy with great freshness and a textured finish.

"I've worked on projects in Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Chile, Spain, Argentina—one thing I’m always impressed by is value," Joey Tensley explains. "So for the Fundamental Wines, we make four wines with the idea of overdelivering, seeing what California can do at the $18 to $20 price range. Everything is labeled as Central Coast, and we make two to three thousand cases a year."" (WA)

"A blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Viognier brought up in neutral barrels and tank, the 2018 White Wine is a brilliant white that tastes like it cost three times the price. Honeyed citrus, tangerine, flowers, and brioche notes all emerge from the glass, and it's beautifully textured, layered, full-bodied, and balanced. It way over-delivers." (JD)

"Clean and tense aromas of citrus peel broaden into peach and white flowers on the nose of this blend. The palate starts softly with ripe orange, melon and creamy peach flavors, but there is a tension and bright acidity that returns by the finish. -Matt Kettmann" (WE)
