"Light vivid orange. Ripe red berry and citrus fruit aromas are complicated by a subtle floral note and a hint of dusty minerals. Fleshy, spice-tinged raspberry and bitter cherry flavors open up slowly and turn sweeter with air. Distinctly concentrated but lively as well, closing with firm grip and repeating cherry and floral notes. Nothing easygoing here (it does check in at 14.5% alcohol, by the way), despite its relatively humble appellation." (VM)

"The light pink-colored 2018 Côtes Du Rhône La Dame Rousse Rosé is a smoking rosé that offers vibrant notes of white peach, cherries, and white flowers. With plenty of texture, a rounded, mouthfilling style, and yet still incredible freshness and purity, it puts just about every barely colored Provençal rosé out here to shame. It's a gem of a rosé to enjoy over the coming summer months." (JD)

Winery Notes:
The wine is made from 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 20% Cinsault, 10% Carignan. 20 year-old vines.

Deep pink, slightly orange color typical of Mordoree rose wines. Aromas of crystallized oranges and cherries, hints of aniseed. Very round palate, fresh and a long finish.

Food pairing:
cold meats and delicatessen, fowl, white meats, grilled lamb with Provence herbs, fish soup, fried fish, pastas, pizzas and all Asian dishes.
