"Pretty flavors of cherry, currant and strawberry are accented by earth and graphite notes in this sleek red. Firm on the moderately long finish. Drink now through 2025. 22,200 cases made, 10,300 cases imported. -BS" (WS)

"San Felice's 2017 Chianti Classico is a very pretty and expressive wine in its peer group. Aromatic, layered and inviting, San Felice's Chianti Classico has a lot to offer. Crushed flowers, mint, sage and spice notes add gorgeous top notes to a core of dark Sangiovese fruit." (VM)

"A wine with solid density and freshness for the vintage with a medium to full body, dusty tannins and a flavorful finish. Better in 2020, but already pretty." (JS)

Winery Notes:
Produced entirely from native varieties, predominantly Sangiovese with addition of Colorino and Pugnitello. It is a medium-bodied Chianti Classico with a distinguished personality and notable for its elegance. Traditional fermentation practices are employed with average-length maceration, followed by 12 months maturation in large Slovenian oak casks.
