"This is a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Traminer and 5% Semillon. The rest, 25%, is Petit Manseng that has been aged in wood, whereas the other grapes only see stainless steel. The 2017 Poggio Argentato is soft and accessible. This vintage, with light notes of peach and poached pear, is very approachable and ready to drink. Some 50,000 bottles of this excellent value buy were made." (WA)

"The 2017 Poggio Argentato is a bit richer than it usually is, the result of a freakishly warm year that concentrated the fruit on the vine. Orchard fruit, lime, passion fruit and a touch of butter are nicely layered. There is just enough freshness to keep things interesting. " (VM)

"This is dense and layered yet remains fresh. Lots of pear and cooked-apple character. Full-bodied, flavorful and delicious. Drink now." (JS)

"Toast, coffee, acacia and yellow stone-fruit aromas appear in the glass. The palate offers butterscotch, lemon zest and golden apple alongside tangy acidity while a salty note shows its Mediterranean origins. -Kerin O’Keefe" (WE)

Winery Notes:
Bright yellow with greenish tints. On the nose, prevalence of white flowers and notes of cut grass evolve in mineral tones. Fresh and persistent in the mouth.

Food Pairing:
Perfect for aperitifs, crustacea, raw fish, white meats and fresh cheeses, as well as with vegetable based first courses.
