"Floral and seductive, with the palate unfolding layer after layer as different details keep emerging. Concentrated but not overpowering, eloquently keeping you intrigued. The dragon fruit, lychee and honey flavors are perfectly balanced, showing plenty of spice and mineral details. A beautiful expression of the sweeter side of the Mosel. Drink now through 2042. From Germany. -A.Z" (WS)

"If you ever wondered why there is so much fuss around the sweet Mosel riesling, here's the explanation. In spite of all the irresistible power, there is great elegance and finesse. A super long and filigree finish that very few wines can achieve. Drink or hold." (JS)

Winery Notes:
The steep Grosse Lage (grand cru) Brauneberg has been revered as a top vineyard site since the Romans first cultivated wine grapes in the Mosel valley in the second century AD. The Juffer Sonnenuhr is the choicest center cut of the Brauneberg — the steepest and most south-facing part of the hillside that surrounds the sundial.

Auslese is a special selection of late-picked, very ripe clusters with about 50% botrytis-affected grapes.
