"The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Village wafts from the glass with notes of lemon rind, pastry cream, white flowers and a light framing of smoky reduction. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and vibrant, with tangy acids, lovely purity and an elegant, precise profile. I suspect it will further gain in depth and dimension with additional élevage." (WA)

"Restrained nose offers a spicy nuance. Youthfully withdrawn on the palate as well, but with lovely clarity and penetration and noteworthy purity of stone fruit and spice flavors. Intensely flavored, balanced and long, this village wine is still a baby. The crop level here was no more than 35 hectoliters per hectare, according to Pierre Vincent." (VM)

"A cool, reserved and elegant nose reflects notes of acacia blossom, green apple and plenty of citrus influence. Once again there is very good vibrancy and mid-palate density to the delicious and noticeably saline-infused flavors that exhibit very fine length on the clean, dry and refreshing finish. A high quality Puligny villages that should repay up to a decade of cellaring." (BH)
