"Sleek, with fine-grained and mineral-rich flavors of dried cherry and berry that are supported by vibrant acidity. Tensile midpalate, featuring a finish flush with cedar and spice notes. Drink now through 2025. 1,140 cases made. -KM" (WS)

"A classic Russian River Pinot, Dehlinger's 2017 Pinot Noir Goldridge is bold and succulent, with tons of presence and immediacy. Crushed red berries, spice and sweet red berry fruit all grace this super-expressive Pinot. Hints of dried cherry, hard candy, strawberry and sweet spice all add complexity. Best of all, the 2017 will drink well right out of the gate." (VM)

Winery Notes:
The Vineyard:
Each bottling is the result of a winemaking vision to high-light the soil, the vine age, or a taste profile from with-in our estate grown vines. With a diversity of vineyard blocks, soil type, vine age, and clonal selections to draw upon, our blending process to capture the envisioned wine is incredibly intense and selective. Of the dozens of small lots of wines we separately ferment and then age in barrel with each vintage, we recombine those with the most engaging taste profile into a wine that tells the story of the blend’s origin in the vineyard.

The Vintage:
The thin skin of the Pinot noir variety typically results in wines of moderate color, soft tannin, and intriguing flavors. True to form, the 2017 Dehlinger Goldridge Pinot noir emphasizes supple texture and luxurious fruit aromas. Originating from the sandier, lower-lying sections of our vineyards, the Dehlinger Goldridge Pinot noir has become a reference point Pinot noir for the Russian River Valley over the 25 vintages that we have produced the bottling.

The Wine:
The 2017 Goldridge Pinot noir shows engaging aromas of red currant, boysenberry and sweet toasted oak.
