"Quite varietal, sharp and focused, the 2017 Cartagena Riesling has some 13 grams of residual sugar to counterbalance the high acidity in an off-dry style that comes through as balanced and not sweet at all. Try it with Asian food. 35,000 bottles were filled in September 2017." (WA)

Winery Notes:
This German variety is not very well known in Chile but has shown excellent results when produced in cooler climates. Sixty percent of the grapes originate in slopes consisting mainly of granite soils, and the remaining forty percent originates in sandy soils found on the lower parts of our vineyard. This off dry Riesling with approximately 10 grams of sugar per liter is a fun wine with subtle notes of flower nectar, green chamomile, clementines, candied peach, and honey cream. A silky palate with great volume and refreshing acidity that makes your mouth salivate. A wine that invites you to pour another glass.
