AMAZING JUICE FROM THIS UP AND COMING SUPERSTAR!!...THE HIGHEST QUALITY!!

"Shows breadth and presence, with a refined core of stony minerality and lively acidity, caressed by black raspberry, smoky bay leaf and espresso flavors that build tension toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2026. -T.F." (WS)

"Leading off the barrel samples, the 2017 Ripper boasts a fresh, vibrant style (this wine always seems to put on weight over its élevage) as well as classic Grenache notes of kirsch, blackberries, ground herbs, and rose petals. It’s a beautiful, elegant, seamless Grenache in the making." (JD)

Winery Notes:
Most consider Ripper to be the most elegant wine we produce with its delicate red fruits and signature hints of cherry cola. We partially age the wine in neutral French 500L oak barrels, and the other part of the wine in concrete tanks. Ripper is only made in select years when our Grenache crop shows top-quality.
