"This has a profile of slightly jammy raspberry fruit laced with anise and light savory accents, backed by a just-racy edge that keeps this fresh and moving along well enough. Drink now. 5,000 cases made. -JM" (WS)

"Bay leaf and cedar dot a soft, moderately structured wine that's well-priced and lightly ripe. A taste of bouillon and leather wrap around chalky tannin and toasted oak. Virginie Boone" (WE)

Winery Notes:
TASTING NOTES:
Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry and black currants. Once in your mouth the wine’s flavors of blackberries, raspberries and cassis provide a perfect combination with the sweet oak and savory spices, creating a rich and full bodied wine experience. The soft tannins and oak balance lead to a long and lingering finish.

WINEMAKING NOTES:
Grapes from sites throughout Napa Valley were harvested at optimal maturity, then de-stemmed and gently crushed into open-top stainless steel fermenters, at warm temperatures, to fully extract color and flavor. The fermented wine then was racked to a combination of French and American oak for aging of which 10% was new. During the aging process the wine lots were tasted throughout and blended back together just before bottling.
