"The 2016 Mountain Zinfandel is a medium-bodied, nicely balanced red that reveals aromas and flavors of berry fruit and spice. It's somewhat straightforward and anonymous, but it isn't a bad wine." (WA)

"A beautiful shade of purplish red, this bottling shows cohesive aromas of black plum, strawberry sorbet, vanilla and nutmeg on the nose. The palate is full, rounded and rich in plum jam flavor, but with enough baking spice and a strong crushed rock minerality to add elegance and intrigue." (WE)

Winery Notes:
If you are one of those that believe bigger is better, read on. Appropriated named both for it's beautiful bouquet of fruit, as well as where the grapes are grown, this full-bodied Zinfandel has plenty of black cherry, plum and spice and is framed by soft tannins and balanced acidity. Zinfandel isn't known as America's most decadent red for nothing.

This Zinfandel captivates the nose with pomegranate, fig, and cranberry. Raspberry jam dominates the mid-palate nuanced by savory butterscotch overtones. Vanilla, white and cayenne peppers, and cinnamon spice makes for a lively finish.
