"An 80-20 blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre from the lieux-dits of Bois Lauzon, Cabrières and la Gardiole, the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee du Quet is chewy and intense, in need of at least a few years in the cellar. Dark, dusky floral notes join big plum fruit on the nose and palate of this full-bodied, richly concentrated and tannic wine." (WA)

"Deep crimson. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe red and blue fruits, incense and smoky minerals, and a sexy floral topnote builds as the wine opens up. Alluringly sweet, deeply concentrated raspberry, boysenberry, lavender pastille and spicecake flavors become livelier as the wine stretches out.
