"Lurid ruby. Intensely perfumed red fruit liqueur, potpourri and licorice aromas, along with hints of exotic spices and smoky minerals. Sweet, penetrating and focused on the palate, offering sappy raspberry, cherry compote, succulent herb and floral pastille flavors that become livelier as the wine opens up. Smoothly plays richness off of delicacy and finishes extremely long and velvety, with supple, harmonious tannins building slowly." (VM)

"This is so much like great pinot but in fact it's gamay. Superb depth of fruit and freshness with ripe tannins. Fruit-forward finish. Can’t wait to taste from bottle. Old vines. " (JS)

Winery Notes
The vineyard
Located in Villié-Morgon, the vines are 45 years old in average and are extended on 11 hectares with 1 on “Côte du Py”.

- Cultivated with the “Organic” method, we are only undertaking (at the beginning of 2006) to do steps with certificating organizations.

- Furthermore, for 3 years, we are testing the bio dynamic on some lands of old vines.

- Since 2001, we are buying grapes on foot (hand harvest made by us) the harvesting of some good parcels of Morgon cultivated according to our ideal.
