"A distinctive accent of fresh fennel adds interest to the grapefruit and lime flavors. Crisp and clean on the finish. Drink now. -MW " (WS)

"You've got to dig for them a little, but eventually this wine offers aromas of ginger, white flowers and almonds with a whiff of green beans followed by a citrusy, pithy palate. The finish doesn't last as long as you'll wish it did. Nevertheless, this is a solid example of the region's flagship variety."(WE)

Winery Notes:
These grapes were selected from vineyards in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley and the neighboring Awatere Valley. Fast draining, alluvial loams over gravelly subsoils in these valleys provide ideal growing conditions for our Sauvignon Blanc. Individual blocks were targeted for their strengths and overall contribution to the blend. The vines ranged in age, up to 14 years, bringing a mix of youthful vigor and depth of flavor.

Light straw with yellow and green hues.

Citrus and tropical fruits backed by characteristic herbaceous notes for which Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is renowned.

An exuberant wine brimming with juicy acidity and fruit sweetness, providing a balanced flavor profile. The finish is fresh, zesty, and lingering.

All these factors have resulted in the plethora of fruit flavors, crisp acidity, and complexity of this stunning wine. Ready for immediate enjoyment, this wine will continue to develop from one to three years.
