"This expressive, very rich marriage of Grenache Blanc and Roussanne is introduced by a deep and very generous nose of ripe peaches and pears with a slightly sweet, hardwoody trim, and its concentrated, well-formed very persistent flavors are ripe and mouthfilling with good acid backing. A minor rise in eleventh-hour heat is the acceptable price of this one's considerable richness, and, while fleshy and fairly substantial, the wine does a very good job at staying alive and in balance from beginning to end. Reviewed: March 2018" (CG)

Winery Notes:
Showing off a lemon/lime zest component and light vanilla bean. As the wine opens aromatically you pick up dried peaches and honeyed apricots. Extremely floral on the palate, it is lush, exotic and concentrated with a focus on tropical fruit, roasted nuts, and honey. The minerality of this wine is its backbone and help to carry it to the finish. 65% Grenache Blanc from Camp 4 in Santa Ynez Valley with 35% Roussanne from Alta Colina Vineyard in Paso Robles
