"This offers ripe dark cherry and roasted plum flavors that are accented by chocolaty accents. Notes of forest floor show on the tannic finish. Drink now through 2021. 2,436 cases made. -KM" (WS)

"Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyard has a fun cherry cola and watermelon nose with some peppered meat and raspberry tart nuances, plus a touch of Provence herbs. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has nice weight and depth of red berry and spice flavors supported by rounded tannins and just enough freshness, finishing peppery. 2,436 cases were made." (WA)

"The 2015 Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyard is a wine of real character and personality. The flavors are bold and racy. Deceptively medium in body, the 2015 packs a serious punch. Hints of sage, wild flowers and mint add nuance. " (VM)

"This is a bold and spicy red with dried chili flakes and dark fruits. Full body, juicy and rich. Oyster shell and limestone character. Chalk. Intense wine. Drink or hold." (JS)

"Snappy black-raspberry aromas meet with thyme sprigs, carnations, cinnamon and a hint of smoke on the very fresh and lively nose. Elegant flavors of cranberry, pomegranate and hibiscus are hit with a dash of potpourri on the sip, and it's refreshing that this reserve-type bottling aims for vibrancy and grace rather than simply strong oak. -Matt Kettmann" (WE)

Winery Notes:
Fiddlestix Vineyard Pinot Noir always shows a sense of elegance, with silky, glossy tannins-and this vintage continues that tradition. Plush and round, full without being overly heavy, savory notes are shared with aromas and flavors of pomegranate, raspberry and plum with a touch of oak spice and toasted graham cracker. The finish lingers, long and satisfying. While restraint and finesse are sometimes used with this wine, in this vintage it’s more of a statement wine, and the statement is clear: This is a fine example of what defines the Santa Rita Hills.
