"(made from three parcels planted in the 1950s--an extension of the estate's vines in Meursault; the crop level here was very low, noted assistant Eric Baudin): Healthy pale yellow. Apple and spices on the nose. At once supple and juicy, with orchard fruit and spice flavors showing good intensity. Not particularly closed after the bottling, and approachable now. Finishes with good length." (VM)

" Whiffs of matchstick and oak set off the pretty array of white orchard fruit scents. The caressing and very round middle weight flavors exude a discreet minerality while exhibiting a touch of youthful austere on the more complex and lingering finish. Delicious and a wine that could easily be enjoyed young." (BH)
