"A supple red, evoking red berry, floral and rose hip tea flavors, with hints of iron, tobacco and spice. Almost seamless in texture and balanced, with taut, refined tannins shoring up the finish. This is long and leaves a lasting impression of fruit. Best from 2023 through 2045. 1,000 cases made, 400 cases imported. -BS" (WS)

Winery Notes:
Our Cerrati cru, only commercialized by Tenuta Cucco, is the most authentic expression of this land and its peculiarities, due to the long history of the soil. Barolos from Serralunga always had an extraordinary expression of longevity and authenticity. We are sure that, also because of our experience at La Raia, the choice of introducing the organic approach in the vineyards and the cellar, defines even more the characteristics of this cru. A cru which is already well known for its body, elegance and longevity since 1996, year of the first bottle produced. -Piero Rossi Cairo (owner)
