"Lively, with zesty fruit, offering appealing black currant, espresso and spice flavors that finish with refined tannins. Drink now through 2023. 100,000 cases made. -TF" (WS)

"GOOD VALUE, Here is a straightforward, but well-defined Merlot that goes straight to the variety's cherry-like point and gets a polite boost in richness from its cautious appointment of slightly sweet oak. It is moderately full on the palate, and, while its gentle tannins provide a proper bit of tactile grip and ensure that the wine will keep nicely for several years, they in no way interfere with entirely tasty drinking right now. Reviewed: April 2019" (CG)

"The aromas come out of the gate lightly reduced, followed by notes of graphite, blackberry jam, plum and spice. The palate brings a pretty sense of styling, with the concentration light in the middle, but otherwise delivering a sense of appeal. -Sean P. Sullivan" (WE)

Winery Notes:
The Indian Wells Merlot offers ripe berry fruit aromas and jammy flavors. This is a full-bodied style of warm climate Merlot with a round, supple finish. We added Wahluke Slope Syrah to enhance the mouthfeel and rich fruit character. Pairs well with hearty pastas, arroz con pollo, flank steak salad, basil, oregano.
