"The 2016 Marjosse Blanc, Pierre Lurton's home in Entre-Deux-Mers, is just OK inasmuch that I have drunk and enjoyed better vintages in the past such as the 2010 and 2012. This has a simple, clean and fresh bouquet but it does not offer the complexity I was expecting and the palate follows suit. It is decent enough but nothing special and you forget it too quickly. In many ways in reflects how 2016 never really favored the dry white Bordeaux. Drink it over the next couple of years." (WA)

"The 2016 Marjosse Blanc is terrific in this vintage, as it has a bit more depth and richness than is often the case. Green pear, lemon confit, flowers and mint notes are bright and beautifully delineated, while the 10% Muscadelle adds a distinctive aromatic profile. Best of all, it should be superb value." (VM)

"Lime and mineral character with a celery and sliced-white-pear undertone. Medium body, bright acidity and a vivid finish. Flinty undertone. " (JS)
