"The 2016 La Croix de Pez has a perfumed, almost exotic bouquet with fig and date aromas infusing the red fruit, although it maintains commendable definition and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a little “glossy” in style but with a silky smooth, fairly oaky finish that deserves another two years in bottle. Good potential here. Tasted at the Oenoconseil tasting room in Bordeaux." (VM)

"Some coffee and caramel here, but also plenty of blackberries and a generous slug of moderately dry tannins, making this a bold wine, yet easy to drink. Lively, dry finish. Drink or hold." (JS)

"From one of the many estates on the Pez plateau, this spicy, toasty wine also offers plenty of black-currant fruits. The freshness of the vintage gives it a lift. Drink from 2023. -Roger Voss" (WE)
