"Light bright pink. Aromas of fresh red fruit, orange zest and pungent flowers, along with a hint of white pepper. Dry and focused on the palate, offering refreshingly bitter blood orange and red currant flavors that unfold slowly on the back half. Closes taut and dry, showing good focus and red-berry-tinged persistence." (VM)

"Very pretty and perfumed with sliced peaches and flowers such as lilacs. Full-bodied, fresh and flavorful. Layered, textured and delicious. Spicy food! Drink now." (JS)

Winery Notes:
As a negociant and vinificateur (winery), Caves d’esclans identifies vineyards, grapes and wines from château d’esclans as well as local growers to make what has reputedly become the world’s greatest rosé. As our objective is to obtain the best quality grapes and wines, we have created relationships with the local grape growers, committed beside Caves d’esclans, whose vineyards are treated with the same high standards of quality as are the vineyards of Château d’esclans.

Grapes grown from some of the most choice land in the surrounding region of La Motte en Provence, consisting primarily of Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino) and Cinsault. Harvesting at sunrise to noon. Optical grape sorting. Destemming and slight crushing at 7-8c to avoid oxidation. Both the free run juice and pressed juices are vinified in stainless steel. “Batônnage” is twice weekly. Temperature controlled
