"Smoky, charry, toasty oak is the dominant theme here, with supple cherry and berry fruit underneath. Drink now. 2,000 cases made.–JL " (WS)

"Quite dark in the glass, this reserve bottling shows cassis, olive and savory earth aromas of dried herb and peppercorn on the nose. A roasted beef in blackberry sauce flavor meets with notes of black plum, mint and shaved chocolate on the palate." (WE)

Winery Notes:
San Simeon Cabernet Sauvignon offers bright aromas of raspberry and black cherry. Ripe flavors spicy plum and currant are complemented by nuances of cocoa and cedary oak from barrel aging. Structured tannins provide texture and depth with a lengthy finish. A small percentage of Petit Verdot was added for additional complexity.
