"Opaque ruby. Dark fruits, vanilla and licorice on the deeply perfumed nose. Sweet and energetic in the mouth; a peppery note adds spicy lift and cut to sweet cassis and black raspberry flavors. Supple tannins come in late, adding shape to a persistent, spice-tinged, focused finish." (VM)

"This unabashedly powerful and jammy wine shows black-cherry candy, sweet roses, vanilla, black rocks and black pepper on the nose. The soft tannins carry forth waves of vanilla, coconut, caramel and blueberry jelly, perfect to please those seeking a whopper of a wine." (WE)

Winery Notes:
If you are one of those that believe bigger is better, read on. Appropriated named both for it's beautiful bouquet of fruit, as well as where the grapes are grown, this full-bodied Zinfandel has plenty of black cherry, plum and spice and is framed by soft tannins and balanced acidity. Zinfandel isn't known as America's most decadent red for nothing.

This Zinfandel captivates the nose with pomegranate, fig, and cranberry. Raspberry jam dominates the mid-palate nuanced by savory butterscotch overtones. Vanilla, white and cayenne peppers, and cinnamon spice makes for a lively finish.
