"The 2015 Grenache is very promising, bursting from the glass with a classic bouquet of Bing cherry, licorice and rich spice. On the palate, it's full-bodied, lavish and pure, with an ample core of fruit that cloaks its fine-grained varietal tannins that gently assert themselves on the fragrant finish. Cellar this textural, generous red for a year or two before enjoying it over the coming 6 or 7 years." (WA)

"Coming from various sites throughout California, the 2015 Grenache (100% Grenache) is another inky colored effort that still aging in 50% new French oak. Blackberries, scorched earth, singed leather and some gravely, rocky nuances all flow to a rich, peppery, impressively textured Grenache that reminds me a of modern-styled Ch√Ęteauneuf du Pape. It's a downright sexy Grenache to enjoy in its youth and over the following 4-7 years." (JD)

"There's strong oak, vanilla and spice cake on the nose of this rich bottling from Paso Robles vineyards as well as sugar plums and wet soil aromas. There's an earthy minerality of turned loam to the palate, with hints of forest moss, pine oil and cracked pepper." (WE)
