"GOOD VALUE, Those wary of typically rough and rugged Petite Sirah tannins will find this slightly juicy, low-on-astringency version to be a bit of a surprise, and, if nonetheless a bit crude and wholly lacking any sense of refinement, it manages to keep the grape's peppery fruit in its sights and is easy enough to like given the price. Winery Notes:
Production Notes:
The grapes for our 2015 Petite Sirah were harvested between August 28 Sept. 13, 20153, with an average Brix of 26.5. After fermenting on the skins for 6-9 days, the must was pressed and the resulting wine finished fermentation in Stainless Steel tanks. The resulting wine then aged on new and used French and American Oak for approximately 6 months.

Winemaker Notes:
The 2015 Petite Sirah is deep purple in color, with an exceptionally bright hue. The nose is filled with ripe blackberry, toffee and a bit of clove. Flavors of juicy dark berry fruit are abundant. The round dense wine has a mocha finish which is absent of any astringency.
