"A rich take on Chablis, yet with a salty tang to the apple, melon, yellow plum and lemon flavors. The chalky, minerally finish adds a sense of place. Drink now through 2020. 50,000 cases made.–BS " (WS)

"The 2015 Chablis les Domaine Sainte Claire has a delicate, chalk scented bouquet with just a hint of white flower. The palate is balanced and shows a little more tension than the Chablis Villages, light citrus peel notes with a straightforward, toffee-apple tinged finish." (WA)

"Much more aromatic than the basic village bottling, offering scents of peach, lemon oil and fresh herbs. Fatter, rounder and more concentrated too, conveying an impression of lower acidity. These organically farmed 30-year-old vines generally produce 20% less crop, noted Julien Brocard. An attractive, easygoing wine with good length. Incidentally, these vines are already completely gone in 2016; in fact, none of the estate's organically farmed vines will yield a crop this year owing to the frost and hail, according to Brocard."
