"Juicy and ripe, with an unctuous edge to the peach, apricot and quince flavors, pumping along and backed by a bright honeysuckle- and heather-infused finish, structured by well-inlaid acidity. Drink now through 2019. 350 cases made.–JM" (WS)

"Clean and crisp, the 2015 Condrieu Les Mandouls (it’s named after an almond tree) gives up notes of tangerine, citrus blossom and crushed rocks, and is clean, tight and nicely focused on the palate. It needs a year in bottle, but is outstanding.

The quality (and number of cuvées) from this estate continues to soar, and this is easily the finest lineup up of wines I’ve tasted from this team." (WA)

Winery Notes:
MATURING:
There is no malolactic fermentation in order to give the wine a maximum of aromatic freshness. 80% of the wine is aged in stainless steel vats and the rest in 600 litre barrels (demi-muid) to achieve the purest fruit aroma possible and the purest minerality possible.

TASTING:
Colour:
pale gold colour with silver tints.

Nose:
very intense aroma of tropical fruit: pineapple, lychee. Very fresh.

Palate:
pure, very long, aromas of white peaches and tropical fruit.
