"This direct and very likeable offering marries black cherries with a subtle bit of cola-like sweetness in its inviting, mid-density nose and reiterates the same in its nicely sustained, easy-to-access flavors. It lacks the toughness expected of a young Cabernet but does not err to softness and shows a proper bit of varietal grip in the latter going, and, although balanced to keep and improve for a few years, it can be enjoyed without further waiting. Reviewed: April 2018" (CG)

"This wine is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, blended with small amounts of Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Smoky, toasted oak underlies rounded layers of blueberry, black cherry and plum, leaving the palate rich and pleasing." (WE)

Winery Notes:
The Dry Creek Valley is an undiscovered gem, producing some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon in California. Primarily known for Zinfandel, the valley has almost as much Cabernet Sauvignon planted. Our region?s unique terroir provides just the right growing conditions. A perfect microclimate, we are blessed with long days of vibrant sunshine and cool foggy evenings allowing for exquisitely ripened Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Bright cherry fruit framed by floral and spice elements create wines that speak to the distinctive soil and growing conditions in our appellation.
