"Lively, with pomegranate and red currant paste flavors bouncing along, carried by light brambly grip and backed by a hint of roasted apple wood. Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2020. 5,000 cases made, 900 cases imported. -JM" (WS)

"The 2015 La Brande is medium garnet-purple with warm red currants, black raspberries and red plums scents with touches of roses and fragrant earth. The medium-bodied palate gives pleasant vibrancy contrasted by chewy tannins, finishing savory." (WA)

"Quite floral and brambly with spiced cherry fruits. Very pure. The palate has tangy, bright and slightly crunchy tannins. Red-berry flavors hold fresh. Drink or hold." (JS)

"An outstanding effort is the 2015 La Brande and it’s a medium-bodied, ripe, beautifully textured effort that gives up lots of red and black currants, plums, spice box and hints of dried earth. Made in a balanced, classic workhorse style, drink it anytime over the coming 7-8 years. " (JD)

"This wine is packed with crisp red currant fruit and plenty of acidity. Firm with tannins now, it will bring out more fruitiness as it develops. Ready to drink from 2019. -Roger Voss" (WE)

"Polished, soft, sweet and fresh, the wine is medium bodied, open and leaves with cherries and anise in the finish. You can drink this young. 2187 Views Tasted May 21, 2018" (JL)
