“Boldly beautiful and generous in both fruitiness and toasty oak; spice and dark cherry character add great charm to this bigger-style Pinot Noir”

Winemaker Joe Otos has been crafting award-winning wines from the prestigious Kaufman Sunnyslope vineyard since 2008. A six-acre site on the cooler north side of the renowned Sonoma Mountain appellation, it produces true cool-climate Pinot noir grapes of the highest quality.

A product of a near-perfect growing season, our well balanced 2014 Willowbrook Cellars Kaufman Sunnyslope Vineyard Pinot noir displays nuanced aromas of cola, cassis and pine. On the palate the wine offers abundant and interwoven flavors of blackberry, mushrooms and allspice. The subtly smooth mouthfeel leads to a well-focused finish of complex, nutty tannins and mouthwatering acidity.

The 2014 Willowbrook Cellars Kaufman Sunnyslope Vineyard Pinot noir is ready to drink now but would also benefit from aging for the next five years. It pairs naturally with herb-encrusted roast pork or Manchego cheeses.
