"Made in a prettier, tropical fruit and medium-bodied style, the 2014 Chardonnay Talley Vineyard Rincon (aged 15 months in 16% new French oak) offers lots of white flowers, citrus blossom, mint and salty minerality as well as medium-bodied richness and a pure, elegant style." (WA)

"The 2014 Chardonnay Talley Rincon, from Brian Talley's vineyard in Edna Valley, is wonderfully nuanced and layered throughout. Yellow stone fruit, mint, almond, honey and chamomile notes are all laced together in a beautifully delineated Chardonnay long on class." (VM)

"Salty lemon and ripe apple aromas combine for a very inviting nose that also shows pineapple and creamy lily scents on this bottling from a historic vineyard. A fine line of gunmetal tension runs down the middle of the palate, which opens toward a fuller-bodied wine with lots of lemon peel and butter flavors as well as a nicely chalky mouthfeel. -Matt Kettmann" (WE)

Winery Notes:
Since 1997, Tantara has been dedicated to producing the very finest Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah. Located in the beautiful Santa Maria Valley (Santa Barbara County), our grapes are sourced from premium vineyards from the Central Coast. From volunteering for our first harvest in 1997 to becoming our full time winemaker in 2011, Rick Hill has helped us perfect the Tantara wine profile that we enjoy today. Rick, a native of New Zealand, graduated from Charles Sturt University in Australia with his degree in Wine Science prior to moving to California to pursue his passion for winemaking.
