"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon the Ranch is blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This is a beauty with soft tannin giving it a silky, voluptuous texture. It possesses a dark ruby/purple color, plenty of black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit with tobacco leaf and unsmoked high-quality cigar tobacco. The overall impression is one of elegance, yet intensity. Drink it over the next 15-20 years." (WA)

"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon The Ranch is another gorgeous wine from Snowden. Dark, racy and expressive, the 2014 boasts lovely depth and polish. Dark cherry, plum, spice, mocha and leather are all pushed forward. Gracious and medium in body, with fabulous balance, the 2014 has it all. Best of all, The Ranch is one of the best values readers will find in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Don't miss it!" (VM)

Winery Notes:
Our ambassador wine, “The Ranch” is an approachable, richly perfumed, terroir-driven Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Produced entirely from grapes grown on our property, the 2014 shows distinct Cabernet Sauvignon character, knitted with suppleness from the Merlot, structure and elegance from the Cabernet Franc, and aromatics, spice, color, and finesse from the always-influential Petit Verdot. 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot; 1891 cases made.

Winemaker Notes:
A bit shyer than years past, the 2014 Ranch has a bouquet of pencil lead and steel, red fruit, marzipan, blackberries and cracked black pepper. Red fruit and anise persist on the palate with vigorous tannins and bright acidity -- enjoy immediately and for the next decade.
