"Blended of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon with 9% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County has a deep garnet-purple color and is scented of red and black currants, black cherries and cloves with hints of vanilla, cinnamon stick and lavender, plus a touch of Provence herbs. Medium-bodied, it has a solid backbone of grainy tannins and lively acid cutting through the intense fruit and spice flavors, finishing with an herbal lift." (WA)

"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Crossbarn (Napa Valley) is plump, juicy and forward, all qualities that make it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next few years. Inky blue/purplish fruit, lavender, chocolate, menthol and spices are all pushed forward. Drink this succulent, fruit-driven Cabernet Sauvignon over the next few years." (VM)
