"Elegant and beautifully defined by the pure cherry, black currant and floral aromas and flavors. Firmly structured, yet balanced, with a long, vibrant and mineral-tinged finish. Best from 2020 through 2032. 510 cases made. -BS" (WS)

"The 2014 Barolo Mosconi is laced with the essence of smoke, gravel, mocha, melted road tar, plum, lavender and licorice. Ample and broad on the palate, with striking aromatic intensity, it is a wonderfully complete Barolo. Like all of the 2014s here, the Mosconi is distinguished by silky, super-polished tannins. There is much to like in this exotic, compelling Barolo from Conterno-Fantino." (VM)

"Ripe red cherries with roses and some sweetly spicy oak. A hint of orange peel, too. The palate has a fine thread of tannins and a core of chalky, fresh red plums. Try from 2020." (JS)

Winery Notes:
100% Nebbiolo. Intense ruby red which turns garnet in time; fruity and herbaceous bouquet with notes of ripe cherry confirmed on, full, fresh, flavorful palate. Long, crisp finish.
