"The 2014 Beaumont has a straightforward blackberry and raspberry bouquet that feels a little subdued at the moment and needs a tad more harmony. The palate is medium-bodied with supple ripe tannin, solid and conservative yet with good density. It does not quite "flow" like the best vintages of this Haut-Médoc, but I suspect it will improve with another couple of years in bottle to soften its edges. Tasted September 2016." (WA)

"The 2014 Beaumont shows good textural depth and body, but comes across as a bit green and lacking in polish, with slightly angular contours that attentuate the fruit. Savory herbs, smoke, licorice and tobacco notes add a bit of complexity, but the rough edges are impossible to escape." (VM)

"A solid wine with tar, dark chocolate and berry character. Full and chewy. Impressive. " (JS)

"The vineyard is in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, midway between Margaux and Saint-Julien. The wine is solid, dark and with plenty of firm tannins. At the same time, it has concentrated black fruits and a fine blend between black-currant acidity and ripe jammy fruitiness. Drink from 2020." (WE)

"Forward, medium bodied, bright, red fruits with accents of tobacco, cedar , herbs, and red plums that will be easy to drink with just a year or two of age. 88 points - Tasted Jan 31, 2017" (JL)
