"Plump and deeply structured, with expressive licorice and black raspberry aromas and layered blueberry, smoky cracked pepper and dried sage flavors. Best from 2019 through 2024. -T.F" (WS)

"Deep ruby. Aromas of black raspberry, cherry and vanilla are underscored by a vein of zesty minerality. Spicy and broad on the palate, offering appealingly sweet cherry and red berry liqueur flavors that open up slowly with aeration. The long, broad finish echoes the cherry and vanilla notes and delivers solid thrust and harmonious, fine-grained tannins. " (VM)

"The 2014 Grenache is also a ripe, sexy effort that gives up tons of fruit and texture. Black raspberries, roasted herbs, licorice and chocolate notes flow from this full-bodied 2014 that's soft, forward and ready to go. It too is best enjoyed over the coming 2-4 years." (JD)

"Roasted blueberry aromas meet prune, caramel and purple flower notes on the nose of this port-like bottling, which is rich and inviting but not very reminiscent of Grenache. It's soft and thick on the palate, with caramel, fudge and coffee candy flavors, and would make a great pairing for dessert." (WE)
